Different industries have slightly different requirements. In addition to introducing the various indicators of customized chemical packaging boxes, we will also introduce other industry related specifications and requirements
Packaging void ratio refers to the percentage of the void volume between particles in the stacking volume of a packaging container for bulk materials. In order to limit excessive packaging of goods, national and industry standards have put forward specific requirements for packaging porosity, packaging layers, and packaging costs.
Packaging porosity: Different product categories have different porosity requirements. For example, the packaging porosity of alcoholic beverages should not exceed 55%, cosmetics packaging porosity should not exceed 50%, and tea packaging porosity should not exceed 25%. These regulations aim to reduce unnecessary packaging space and improve packaging efficiency.
Note: This table is not applicable to products with only one layer of packaging for sale.
1. Cosmetics that need to be mixed refer to products that have been mixed together.
2. The packaging void ratio of comprehensive products should be based on the void ratio corresponding to the product with the highest net content per piece.
Packaging layers: The number of packaging layers of most commodities shall not exceed 3, the number of packaging layers of specific commodities such as tea and related products shall not exceed 4, and the number of packaging layers of food commodities such as moon cakes and Zongzi shall not exceed 3. These regulations aim to simplify packaging structures and reduce production costs.
Packaging cost: Except for packaging that comes into direct contact with the contents, the total cost of all packaging shall not exceed 20% of the product's selling price. For mooncakes and Zongzi sold for more than 100 yuan, the proportion should not exceed 15%. In addition, the packaging of moon cakes and Zongzi should not use metal and mahogany materials. These regulations aim to control packaging costs and avoid resource waste caused by excessive packaging.
Regulations on Packaging Void Ratio Requirements for Customized Cosmetics Boxes
When the net content of a single item is greater than 1g and less than or equal to 5g, the packaging porosity should be less than or equal to 70%.
When the net content of a single item is greater than 5g and less than or equal to 15g, the packaging porosity should be less than or equal to 60%.
When the net content of a single item is greater than 30g and less than or equal to 50g, the packaging porosity should be less than or equal to 40%.
For fresh edible agricultural products, the standards of the State Administration for Market Regulation stipulate that vegetables (including edible fungi) and eggs should be packaged without layers, while fruits, livestock and poultry meat, and aquatic products should not exceed 4 layers of packaging. In addition, the upper limit of packaging void ratio has been stipulated. For fresh edible agricultural products of different categories and sales packaging weights, the upper limit of packaging void ratio is set at 10% -25%. At the same time, the ratio of packaging cost to sales price of fresh edible agricultural products shall not exceed 20%, and for specific products with sales price above 100 yuan, this ratio shall be tightened to no more than 15%.
For food and cosmetics, the national standard "Restrictions on Excessive Packaging Requirements for Food and Cosmetics" stipulates that the number of packaging layers shall not exceed 3, the packaging void ratio shall not exceed 60%, and the total cost of all packaging outside the initial packaging shall not exceed 20% of the selling price of the goods.
For government procurement, the "Standard for Government Procurement Requirements for Commodity Packaging (Trial)" stipulates that the number of layers of commodity packaging shall not exceed 3, and the void ratio shall not exceed 40%.
These regulations aim to limit excessive packaging, reduce source waste and environmental pollution, while protecting the legitimate interests of consumers.
As the name suggests, the new standard mainly targets the phenomenon of "box for box" and "layer by layer packaging without goods".
The number of packaging layers here refers to the number of layers that can be physically separated and completely wrap the contents.
For example, zongzi leaves are wrapped together with the product during production,
It is not included in the number of layers.
Requirement: Grain and its processed products shall not exceed three layers, and other commodities shall not exceed four layers.
Regulations on Packaging Void Ratio Requirements for Alcohol Packaging
The ratio of the volume occupied by unnecessary space in the packaging of alcoholic beverages to the volume of the product sales packaging (i.e. packaging void ratio) shall not exceed 55%
In summary, whether it is customized cosmetic packaging boxes or product packaging in other industries, firstly, it is for environmental protection, secondly, it is to save packaging costs, and thirdly, it is to package reasonably according to specifications, which can help consumers make consumption more clear and understandable. As a professional custom cosmetic packaging box manufacturer, we provide reasonable suggestions for the design of cosmetic packaging when communicating with customers, thereby reducing the time and cost of later modifications.
